Continuing my weekly series where I go through my impressively large collection (1,054 titles) of DVDs and Blu-Rays. I have been neglecting older movies for new ones, so I’m going through and re-watching everything from my vault. I have the films divided into categories: General, Series, Classics, Kids, Shakespeare, and Documentary. I’m starting with General.

Comments After Re-Watching: The historical figures reeking havoc on the San Dimas mall is still hilarious. The movie holds up surprisingly well.
Why You Should You Watch This: It is a classic ’80s comedy with highly quotable lines.
Birdman (2014)

Comments After Re-Watching: I remain convinced that Ed Norton is not acting and is playing himself.
Why You Should You Watch This: While a bit unorthodox at times, the movie has excellent performances and solid filmmaking.
Blast From The Past (1999)
Format: DVD Special Features: Games and bios

Comments After Re-Watching: Nathan Fillon had such a baby face.
Why You Should You Watch This: This is a delightful romantic-comedy that holds up almost twenty years later.

Comments After Re-Watching: Such a shame Ted Demme passed away at such an early age. He would have made a lot of great movies like this one.
Why You Should You Watch This: It is a solid biopic of the Columbian drug trade in the ’80s from yet another perspective. It also has an incredible soundtrack.
Another week’s selection with more randomness of the types of movies I own. Come back next week to see what I watched next.
Would you pay to see a third Bill and Ted movie (to complete the trilogy)?

Normally, I would say no, but one of my friends is working with Alex Winter on a different project so I will now have to go.
