Continuing my weekly series where I go through my impressively large collection (1,054 titles) of DVDs and Blu-Rays. I have been neglecting older movies for new ones, so I’m going through and re-watching everything from my vault. I have the films divided into categories: General, Series, Classics, Kids, Shakespeare, and Documentary. I’m starting with General.
Can’t Buy Me Love (1987)
Format: DVD Special Features: None
Last Time Watched: More than twenty years ago

Comments After Re-Watching: I don’t remember Patrick Dempsey being that skinny. I didn’t remember Max Perlich was one of the friends.
Why You Should You Watch This: This is a classic 1980s teen romantic comedy that still gets referenced today (see: Easy A)
Can’t Hardly Wait (1998)
Format: DVD Special Features:
Last Time Watched: More than five years ago
Originally Viewed: Theater
Comments After Re-Watching: Every time I watch this movie I recognize another person. This time it was Seth Peterson who plays Michael’s brother in Burn Notice. Even the extras went on to have significant careers.
Why You Should You Watch This: This is a classic 1990s teen romantic comedy that has every actor born around 1978 in it.
Another week’s selection with more randomness of the types of movies I own. Come back next week to see what I watched next.
PLEASE NOTE: I will be taking the next THREE WEEKS OFF from watching movies out of my vault. Week 18 will post on Wednesday, September 12, 2018.
